New Pokémon TCG Expansion: Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions spotlights Eevee and its Eeveelutions as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex

On November 1, 2024, The Pokémon Company International announced that the newest expansion for the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game , Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions , will be available worldwide on January 17, 2025. This new set focuses entirely on Eevee and its eight Eeveelutions , all of which star as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex .

What's new in the Prismatic Evolutions set?

In addition to the return of favorites like Umbreon and Espeon , Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions gives players the chance to collect and play unique special illustration rare cards . The set also introduces two premium parallel Holofoil variants , with cards that feature Poké Ball or Master Ball designs .

• 10 Pokémon ex and 15 Tera Pokémon ex
• 6 unique ACE SPEC Trainer cards
• 12 Ultra Rare Supporter Cards
• 32 special illustration rare cards
• 5 Hyper Rare Gold Etched Pokemon Ex Cards

The products will be launched in several phases:

January 17, 2025

• Elite Trainer Box : 9 booster packs, an Eevee promo foil and accessories.
• Binder Collection : 5 booster packs and a 378-card collector's folder.
• Poster Collection : 3 booster packs, 3 Eeveelution promos ( Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon ) and a double poster.
• Tech Sticker Collection : 3 booster packs, a promofoil ( Leafeon, Glaceon or Sylveon ) and a sticker set.

February 7, 2025

• Mini Tin Collection : 2 booster packs, an Eevee coin and a unique art card.
• Surprise Box : 4 booster packs, a storage box with dividers and a random promo foil of Eevee or an Eeveelution.

March 7, 2025

• Booster Bundle : 6 booster packs.

April 25, 2024

• Accessory Pouch Special Collection : 5 booster packs and a cute accessory pouch with Eevee's smile.

What else can we expect?

Fans can also look forward to additional products launching later in 2025:

• May 16 : Super-Premium Collection.
• September 26 : Premium Figure Collection.

Digital release

Trainers can play the expansion digitally through the Pokémon TCG Live app for iOS, Android, and desktop starting January 16, 2025. Cards are available through the Battle Pass and can be used to test your skills on the revamped Ranked Ladder.
