The Alolan Raichu Funko POP is, beyond its design, a very interesting Pokémon. Everyone knows Raichu because it's the evolution of Pikachu, but the Alolan variant is a bit different.
It is a local evolution of Pikachu from the Alola region (based on Hawaii), which according to lore is due to the climatic conditions, etc. Pretty much the same as how evolution works with us.
This Alolan Raichu is a bit darker in color and sits on its tail like a surfboard, which is clearly reflected in the design. I definitely recommend taking it out of the box and placing it in a lighter spot, also to add some contrast to the dark color.
