Wat is de duurste Funko POP? (2025) - Animerching

What is the most expensive Funko POP? (2025)

What is the most expensive Funko POP? A brand known for its limited numbers and special editions. In the community, the process of searching for rare and valuable Funko Pops is also called Grail Hunting. As we mentioned in our other article about Funko Pop, there are even communities of collectors looking for new and rare acquisitions.

We could write an entire article on how to determine the value of a Funk Pop, but there are a few guidelines in this area. The condition of the Funko Pop is probably the most important. Slight damage or small scratches can devalue even the most unique products.

Another important factor is how many replicas were made. Limited editions are worth much more than a regular copy. Autographs or an exclusive sticker can also increase the value. Now that we have a little idea why Funko Pops can be worth a lot, let's get started with the top 10 most valuable Funko's.

What is the most expensive Funko POP? A top 10:

  • 10: Freddy FunkoV for Vendetta #14

Freddy Funko V for Vendetta #14

Estimated Value: $24,000

Freddy Funko as V

At number 10 is Freddy Funko #14. This Pop! was released exclusively during the San Diego Comic-Con (Fundays) in 2012. This can be recognized by the san diego comic-con (sdcc) 2012 exclusive sticker.

A total of 25 Freddy Funko Pop! figures were released in sets of 12 during Fundays in 2011, 2012, and 2013. They were given away for free through raffles and drawings to lucky attendees.

The design is based on the protagonist V from V for Vendetta and has a metal coating over it. This coating is partly responsible for the increase in value on the second-hand market, because the standard design is only worth $4,450. Still a lot of course, but less than the special edition.

Funko POP Freddy Funko Buzz Lightyear #03

Estimated Value: $24,250

Freddy Funko as Buzz Lightyear

At number 9 on this list is the Freddy Funko Buzz Lightyear Funk Pop. Released in 2011, this is one of the oldest Funko Pops with an exclusive sticker as chase variant . This Funko Pop was only available at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2011.

As you can read in the name, the unique design is based on Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. In addition, Freddy Funko, the mascot used as a character for this design. We hope you like Freddy Funko, because you will see a different number in this series!

Signed Clockwork Orange #04 (1/3)

Estimated Value: $26,520

Clockwork Orange with signature

Not much is known about this Clockwork Orange Funko Pop. What we do know is that it is a Funko Pop signed by former Funko CEO Brian Mariotti.

In 2012, Funko had plans to produce a full line of Clockwork Orange Pops! However, Clockwork Orange's parent company demanded that Funko destroy the Pops! or face legal action. Brian Mariotti decided to destroy all but 24 (12 Chase & 12 non-Chase), which he personally signed and numbered.

So this particular Funko Pop is one of those rare specimens, making it a special collector's item.

Freddy Funko as Venom SE

Estimated Value: $26,980

Freddy Funko as Venom

The Freddy Funko as Venom is an extremely rare and sought-after Funko Pop! figure that was released exclusively during the Funko Fundays event at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2019. Only 24 pieces of this special edition were produced, adding to its exclusivity and high collector value.

This unique figure features Freddy Funko, Funko's mascot character, dressed as Venom, a popular character from the Marvel universe. The combination of Freddy Funko and Venom makes this item particularly attractive to both Funko collectors and Marvel fans.

Due to its limited edition and exclusive distribution during the event, the Freddy Funko Venom figure has gained significant value on the second-hand market.

The 'SE' designation on the box emphasizes the exclusivity of this Funko Pop!, as it deviates from the usual numbering and thus indicates that it is a special edition.

The most expensive Boo Berry #03 Chase Glow in the Dark Funko Pop

Estimated Value: $28,500

The most expensive Boo Berry Funko POP

The Boo Berry Funko Pop is one of the most expensive Funko Pops of all time, thanks in part to its unique design. Boo Berry, the spooky mascot of the General Mills cereal of the same name, was immortalized in 2010 as part of Funko's Ad Icons series. In 2023, one even sold for $32,000.

Freddy Funko Clone Trooper (Blue Hair) #09

Estimated Value: $30,680

Freddy Funko Clone Wars Funko Pop

The Freddy Funko as Clone Trooper (Blue Hair) is an extremely rare and sought after Funko Pop! figure. This exclusive edition was released during the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2012 and was limited to only 12 pieces.

While there are many Star Wars Funko Pops, this one tops the list of most sought after items among collectors due to its rarity and unique design

The most expensive Freddy Funko as Tony Stark (Metallic)

Estimated Value: $38,660

The most expensive Freddy Funko as Tony Stark Ironman

The most expensive Clockwork Orange glow in the dark

Yes, Clockwork Orange is back on the list, this time with a Glow in the Dark version. This copy is even rarer due to the Chase edition and sold for a whopping $60,000 in November 2022.

This Funko Pop! is based on the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film of the same name. Originally, only 24 pieces were produced, 12 of which were Chase variants. This limited edition and the unique glow-in-the-dark feature contribute to the high value and rarity of this collectible.

The Most Expensive Funko POP in the World: Willy Wonka & Oompa Loompa (Gold) #58

Estimated Value: $163,440

The most expensive Funko Pop in the world

During the Funko Fundays event at SDCC in 2016, attendees were given a chocolate bar with the chance to find a golden ticket, similar to the story in the film "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory." Finders also got a tour of one of Funko's factories.

Only ten of these 2-Packs were produced; four were awarded to winners at the event, while the remaining six were presumably given to Funko employees or affiliates.

In May 2022, a unit was purchased for $100,000 by Grailmonster, and in July 2023, it broke its own record with a retail price of $210,000, cementing its title as the most expensive Funko Pop! ever.
